Digital Library

File Storage	according to LMS structure (system, category, course room folder); personal repository; storage structure according demand (e. g. fileserver)
Distribution into Course Rooms	learning ressources can be administered centrally and distributed into the course rooms (using an alias as reference to the original file); variants: move or copy files from a repository folder into the LMS course room folder
Metadata	support for any desired meta data model via templates (LOM, Dublin Core etc.)
Versioning	While uploading files with identical names already stored files will be saved automatically and marked as previous versions

Search and Find

Fulltext	Fulltext search within the repository files
Metadata	search within the file's metadata

Indexing

Text Analysis	keyword extraction according to relevance (f. e. word frequency, position, capitalisation or manual weighing)and automatic extraction of meta data (f. e. EXIF)
File Formats	Amongst others: PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, OpenOffice Writer, Presenter und Calc, Text, Richtext, XHTML, XML (and derivates); diverse grafic, audio and video formats (including meta data extraction)

Authentification

Internal	internal Single-Sign-on between the LMS and Odalis
LDAP	LDAP connection possible
